however the 70" UHD smart TV is $1499 while JB offers it for $1799 so i guess you'll need to compare prices before buying.
anyone have any experience with the implementation of Android on these? That's a dirt cheap 50" smart tv if it's decent
They all seem to be kit-kat 4.4.4 with Cortex A7 type SOC, which is 32 bit only. Mali 450 GPU which is pretty outdated (2012 to 2013 specification)
Wifi is also single band B/G/N, so the smart feature of these TV's is very basic.
fair enough, might be better to save a few bucks and get the non android and not have the issues that might come with it

Was thinking this tablet might be decent, 10" android for $49, but the shipping is rapeworthy, $40 to Sydney metro! You could ship an Esky full of beef for that.

I have a 40" Soniq upstairs as a cheap TV - one of my WORST decisions ever.
While it connects to wireless, it is USELESS as the remote is rubbish (when it works), it has no in-built apps, and the interface is annoying as.AVOID SONIQ!

my 26" has been going strong for the last 3 years with out a hitch.
