12x Red Bike (Murray Street Vineyards) GSM + 1x Heirloom Barossa Shiraz Delivered for $120 (Normally $210) @ Winedirect

30

Hi guys,

Browsing the Winedirect page and found this really good deal on 12x bottles of 2010 Red Bike Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro blend. I've done a bit of research on this wine and found it appears to be the export label from the well regarded Murray Street Vineyards with a claimed full RRP of $35. On the Wine direct page the Red Bike version is going for $15 a bottle so the real RRP is 12x is $180. It's also already 7 years old so some of the ageing is already done!

They're also throwing in a bottle of 2015 Heirloom Vineyards Barossa Shiraz valued at $30 on their website.

Sign up and buy using the below referral link and you and a random OzBargain referer will get $25 off your orders. This brings it down under $100 so you'll be charged 7.50 freight unless you add a cheap bottle of something to get it back over $100.

So this averages out at $7.85 per bottle delivered for what should be some really great red wine for winter!

  • I ordered a few months ago, nice drinking aged blend, probably can still cellar for a few years. Definitely worth $10, give it a try!
2015 Heirloom Vineyards Barossa Shiraz is good too.
a dozen comes with free shipping, so $95 shipped! $7.20/btl
from the bottle shape, it's probably the export label of Black Label Grenache Shiraz Mataro

  • +1 from me

just because I finally worked out how to add my referral code to the wiki.

    • How do people use a specific referral? Looks like there are 30 in there!

I think the OP gets their referral link highlighted in the grey box when/if this makes the front page.

For the rest of us it's luck of the draw when someone clicks random.

if you click on random, then it's a lucky draw. I can't remember whose I used when sign up. but I did make a purchase, so benefit both.

As per last time this was posted.
This is not 'the barossa', as it has differing alcohol content.
It is, however, a perfectly fine wine made by the same company that makes 'the barossa'.

    • Edited. Cheers

  • Where did you get $102.50 from? If there's a code you haven't provided it. Should be $120 delivered and you can add a further 2 bottles of high RRP wine if you know what you're doing. ;)

    • I was wondering the same.

    • $120, use the referral code to save $25. Makes $95. Add $7.50 shipping because under $100 minimum. $102.50.

Granted it's not a "code" as such but turns out that it's a random referral generator with 32 current possible referral codes via the ozbargains site. All will save the person buying $25 and I (and all the others) have a 1/32 chance of saving $25. I'd rather be a first time buyer!

      Have I missed something?

      • And that only works if you are a first time buyer.

        Touch misleading but oh well.

      • I'm not aware of a shipping charge for < $100. 12+ bottle buys should have free shipping. Q1 here: https://www.winedirect.com.au/faq/

From memory, not allowed to post deals with referral discounts factored in.
