Options for Newly Released Rental Movies

We normally rent new release movies through iTunes.

Since Netflix, Stan and Foxtel Now don't seem to have new movies, are there any other cheaper alternatives?

    google play.

    • Ah, thanks.

      • I second Google Play, they often have discount codes for movies.

Also keep eye out for Apple 99c movies, they often show decent movies there.

        • Few questions:

What is the best way to use Google Play? Chromecast? Is it in 5.1 sound?

why pay for something you can download via torrent?

    • Reading is hard isn't it.

I'm sure @myusername read the OP where it says excluding torrents and usenet, but he/she's asking "why"?

I guess some people have more morals than myself and username! haha

@myusername: Can you not work out why someone doesn't want to steal something?

        • @myusername:

I was trying to explain to Mooney what you were asking. lol.

In general the download option is overpriced and low quality ($6 for SD streaming rental of Logan, no thanks). Even their $1 occasional offers aren't great.

Better is getting the blu-ray out of a Video Ezy kiosk using one of the codes that turns up regularly. Higher quality, and lower price (easily less than $2).

Frankly, until that download price goes below $2, it's pointless.
