Hi everyone, i bought a fitbit charge HR recently from telstra ebay. after charged it, i found the device only lasts about 6 hours before battery is flat.
is this normal due to the age of the fitbit or is there something else wrong. all settings are default.

Nah mate, it's most likely defective.
+1 defective. I started a return on a Surge more than a week ago (battery issue), Telstra still hasn't accepted, so good luck if you decide to return it. I believe they are really old stock.
btw, it may be worthwhile using it for a few days. my Charge HR would only last a few hours when I first got it, but after a week the battery life has somehow extended to 3-4 days.
OK, I will try to use it for a free charge cycles and see.
you could always contact Fitbit Support Chat, and they most likely arrange for a replacement one to be sent, both times I have done it, it has been a new replacement

after a few charges, it seems to be working up to 4 days now. maybe try yours too

I used to have a Fitbit Charge HR and now have an Alta (non HR model). I was charging the Charge every 2nd or 3rd day and now I charge my Alta 1x per week. Incredible difference.
My wife had one, I think hers last about 3-4 days on a single charge. Probably faulty, when she first got it, she had to take it back to be replaced because it would only last 1 day.
