I have many customers from Whirlpool Forums, right, but they heard my special XBOX 12 Month price and they bought box cards. If you can look carefully you can look all of the customers bought xbox cards. I want to grow my business and i think this is my right. you guys who buy retail are missing out. ive been buying cd key only versions online and saved so much compared to what the retailers sell. i got bfbc2 for like $22. who needs a box?

A key is another name for the unique serial code/number that comes with some software. You need to enter as part of the installation process to get it to run. It's what you use to prove ownership of the software.

NOTE: For those wondering about the legitimacy of the game keys sold by most online companies offering these, I refer you to this comment:
Those keys are “legit” in the way that they do come from the real game distributors. However I believe the source of those keys might be from some sort of grey market where they harvest keys from damaged packages (some might actually intentionally damage the package to leak those keys into the grey market).
So be warned.

There r some scammers, this is right. They buy games via stolen credit cards and sell cd keys. But not everyone. I don't know how can u trust me but i'm working with really reliable distributors.
