  • Have asked a friend who has some Japanese language skills if they can help - if they can I'll let you know

    • Thanks Pete!
Apparently that site don't take Paypal as payment, only credit card or bank wire so I'm kinda worry.

  • What's so special about this Rice Cooker btw?

I've heard about the tea maker in Japan where everytime it makes tea, the machine sends an email to someone to indicate that the person is still OK. It is designed for old people and I think it's a pretty cool gadget. :)

I often buy a Japan iTunes card from www.jlist.com which accepts Paypal. Maybe you could email the site manager (Peter Payne) to see if he can put the rice cooker in stock for you.

    • Its got the look & long life :)
We have the old model, been used more than 10 years & still going but think it time to upgrade this one.
Thanks, just email him for the request.

eBay sell $270 which is too much!

      • It does look good :)
My mom has a microwave that is 5 years older than me (I'm 23 btw) and It's still working pretty well. Japan-made too.

$270 for a rice cooker is way too expensive!

      • Including shipping, the link you supplied is a total of 25,540 JPY or AUD$323.
Anyway did you end up buying it?

  • u can buy tiger rice cooker in Cabramatta.
