DJI Care Refresh

Hi,

Awaiting shipment of my Mavic. I see the DJI Care Refresh token is $160-170AUD from Australian stores, however is $99USD on DJI website.

Since that is $130AUD direct exchange without usual fees, that's still $30 to go - I think buying from DJI will be cheaper.

Can we insert the S/N of drone on the seemingly international DJI website and buy Care Refresh using their USD price?

Cheers.

  • just add it to your H&C insurance, way better than the care refresh!

    • Considering house contents insurance is typically $500 or higher, and affects any other insurance for the next 5+years …. and DJI is $160 + $150 or so for a new one …. how do you figure?

  • Hi StickMan,

What did you end up doing?

I just bought the Mavic Air and was wondering the same thing. $149AUD vs $89USD.

    Cheers

    • I have Mavic Pro and I purchased the DJI Care Refresh, since it is my first drone.

    • I believe DJI Care Refresh is region bound.
So if you don't change the region on the top right corner of the website to Australia, you would be purchasing DJI Care Refresh US. I was advised by DJI chat that I would not be able to use it with DJI Australia and had to purchase the $149 AUD for my Mavic Air when I got it.

      • I decided to play it safe and got it for $149 AUD too. I bought it with about an hour to spare. :)

  • FYI - DJI Care Refresh only works if you can provide the broken drone (so for example if you lost the drone out at sea DJI care won't cover it).
