Just an FYI for anyone thinking of ordering through MyProtein.com (they've appeared on here a few times).
I ordered on the 14th of June. The order was "dispatched" and my credit card charges on the 15th of June with an ETA of 22nd-28th of June for delivery. I paid extra for tracking.
I assumed all was well until I received an email on the 23rd of June saying they couldn't fill my order so it was cancelled. Odd. I checked their website - it was marked as dispatched and I had a tracking number.
I contacted customer service. They assured me it was on its way. Sent on the 15th.
I again waited. The delivery dates passed with no sign. I checked the tracking number, now it shows as invalid. Great!
Contact customer service again with all the details again. They assure me it's on the way. I ask them to explain the tracking number. They reply a day later telling me they couldn't fill my order and it's cancelled.
So it's gone from dispatched, to cancelled, to dispatched, to completed, to cancelled (but still showing completed). To this second I can go onto their website and order the exact same product in whatever quantity I like, so possibly everyone wanting WPI through them is getting the same run around.
Their website still shows the order as completed. I haven't received a refund. It's a 24-48hr wait between any correspondence and their Live Chat is always offline.
They do review okay usually so maybe I'm the odd one out, but the unhelpful canned responses from customer service coupled with the fact that I'm now 3 weeks out, they have my money and it looks like I have to file a chargeback to receive a refund means I won't be dealing with them again.
Just thought I'd put my experience out there to potentially save others the pain.
For the love of god people. IF A SITE OFFERS PAYPAL AS PAYMENT USE IT IN COMBINATION WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD.
Paypal has the simplest way to get your money back if something doesnt show up, is broken/defective/fake, etc. IVE NEVER LOST A CASE WITH PAYPAL AS A BUYER.
Use your debit mastercard/visa or whatever other card you want to use as a secondary backup.
Customer service issues will arise from time to time with any company, a company like myprotein who just pushes out cheap products as fast as possible will clearly not have the same level of customer service as bodybuilding.com, but if you have paypal all your customer service after the transaction can be through PAYPAL!!!!!
