I've recently bought an S8+ from a deal posted on Ozb now about to purchase a skin, i rather a skin as oppose to a case as i like it to be as close a possible to the natural feel of the phone & with out the extra chunk.
Anyway, has anyone used dbrand on their phones before, if so what are your impressions?

All the dbrand products i have wrap around the edges of my phones? that might have been the case for dbrand with an iphone 4/5 with the sharp edges but everything ive used protects the edges
Very few phones support a single peice which as you stated "wrap" around the edge.
For the majority that dont they dont provide a separate cutout peice for those phoes unlike slickwraps.
which phones would that be? the s8+ certainly does…as does any recent apple product, LG phone, etc

^At no point in Dbrands installation video do they cover the sides.
No, two reasons
1. It is extremely difficult to make it look perfect on curved surfaces. Flat surfaces such as laptops are easy.
2. Took over a month to ship
The second reason alone deters me from buying from them in the future
Love dbrand. Their new dragon skin looks killer as hell. I have it on my ipad, lg v20 and my new lg g6
I got the marble skin for my partners iphone 6s plus and it looks great
Shipping is decently fast for free all the way from the great white north. It goes on well and works flawlessly on curved edges. Slickwraps is poor quality in comparison and never looks correct on the edges and is cut less precisely

Here is the v20 with only the battery cover skinned, goes all the way up to the screen on the sides but i decided the top and bottom looked better without the skin on them, the skin would wrap all the way to the top edge of the phone (unlike any of these other commenters)

No and for this one reason, Dbrand does not have provide skin for the sides of phones only back and front and camera.
This is why i went for slickwraps.

I had it on my Galaxy s7 for a year and only recently took it off and it looks no different than when i put it in.
i'd definitely recommend Slickwraps for the simple reason it provides FULL phones skins..
