I've just booked a one-way bus from Melbourne to Adelaide with this guy and it costs only $5 / day with generous kms and flexible pick up / drop-off.
Just wanna know your thoughts on this unconventional way of renting a car on this particular route (MEL - ADL).
They don't cover flat tyre / battery in T&C (mechanical faults). Should I go extra on Roadside Assistance? Anyone experienced funny stuff on highway A8?
Insurance seems OK. Total will be around $100 for a trip from MEL to ADL. Is it reasonable?

Assuming you take max two days to drive there, you can rent some small cars from the bigger businesses for about $40/day (depending on your age).
