Recommendations for a Decent Cheapish Torch? (Up to $30)

Hi,

Would rather not spend more than say $30. I need it for a trip in a little over a month from now. Would like one that accepts AA size.

What I am considering:
$3.30 - Meco XPE-Q5 600 Lumen 7W Zoomable LED Flashlight For 1xAA 1.2V

Did stumble across this sale, anything good in it?

The nitecore keychain flashlight is my go to. Can be recharge via micro USB cable so no need for batteries. Very bright and very compact. $8.02 AUD is a good price although it has been cheaper before (~$6.80 AUD).

If you want a torch that accepts AA size, then the one you mentioned should be fine.

  • Thanks for the suggestion fossilfuel.

Following a PM from @justcme I've ended up getting one of these babies:
    ThorFire TG06S

Plus two of the Meco ones. The Nitecore Tube one is tempting me due to rechargability and convenience, although there are allot of reviews on Amazon that say it only lasts about 6 months…

    • Awesome! Enjoy your new flashlight!

I've been using my nitecore flashlight since September/October last year. I use it briefly for a few minutes every night on my home. Still works fine to date.

      • Cheers. I'll keep an eye out for a deal on them then :-)
