You really think Chinese companies care about acma?

Well it is possible that ACMA might send them a stern email. At a stretch, If they still refused to comply, ACMA could also threaten to send in the Australian army to invade China and impose Australian law.

Speaking from experience with similar companies, it often seems to take a couple of days for unsubscribed to take effect. I've no idea why, because subscribe requests are usually actioned immediately, but that's also just personal experience.

Of course, you could always threaten them with bikies.

Create a filter in your email that automatically deletes all emails that come from them

if you have a hotmail or gmail account - use their in built unsubscribe feature and not the gerabest unsub link - or if in hotmail move to junk and then 'block'

  • I wasn't aware gmail has a built in unsubscribe feature. I'll look into that later, sounds useful thanks!
