Where can I go to look at and hold an LG G6?

I am considering buying an LGG6, but want to know where I can physically look at one and actually hold it.

Now, I know you can look at them at any JB HI FI and telstra store etc, but those stores have these MASSIVE security clamps on the phones that prevent you from actually picking it up and holding it - so you can never use it naturally.

Is there a store without these massive security clamps that prevent you from picking the phone up?

  • Goto a JB Hifi/Telstra store.
Tell them to remove the security clamp.
There's little to no LG stores, even the Samsung store in Sydney across the Apple store closed down.
I've noticed several Microsoft stores closing down too, there's really only SONY and Apple stores now.

I asked it, for a G6 nonetheless, at JB and they removed it.
I wanted to see how it felt resting in my back pocket: surprisingly well.
Still didn't buy it, wasn't on special, the battery life, camera, processor were meh.
The GS8+ looks tempting, but its so slippery, fingerprint magnet, annoyingly curved ergonomics, and back finger scanner position threw me off. And the TouchWizz UX was a dealbreaker.

    • Thanks mate I didn't know you could do that. Might have to give that a try and see what happens!

      • Yeah i did it with the iphone 7 and ran away with out, the security guard was no match for the toyota waiting outisde with a covered number plate

  • +1
