    Get the GX550 it's more efficient in the long run as it is bronze rated.

      Thanks, didn't even realise the Cosair wasn't rated. I think the black and also flat cables would look much better as well. 550W will give me some room for upgrades too.

      Never bought a PSU before, I'm currently using the one that came with the case in my HTPC. I need 3 SATA cables (plus the power ones) for 3 different HDDs, will I need to buy anything else?

  Pretty sure Cm dont make their own PSU's, just badged OEMs. Anecdotal but I had a cm psu fail on me. Antec for life now for me.

  The GX650 looks like the pick of the bunch given it has 4 x 6/8 pin pci-e connectors rather than only 2 (and a couple more sata connectors) than the 550.
