Photo Scanner for Photo Print

Hello, I have alot of photo prints that I would like to turn into high quality scans. I would like to keep the photos digitally and use them for the Big W deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/317677) as a gift.

Anyone recommend a cheap scanner that provides high quality scanned photos? :) Thank you in advance.

  • I record the work printer/scanner. Definitely the cheapest option

You can do it in store at Officeworks with an auto-feed scanner, which will be faster and cheaper if it is a once off (depending on how many photos you have).

    • I never thought they had that instore.I'll check it out thanks. Do they perhaps allow saving on usb?

  • I know Australia Post has sold Photo/Slide scanners in the past, you might want to try there.

  • Look at second hand multifunction printers on eBay. I scored an awesome A3 brother MFP for 99cents. The scanner was perfect for scanning a pile of photos a few years ago.
