All Clad D5 5-Ply Stainless Steel 25.4cm Fry Pan $115.98 @ Myer eBay

120
CMYER

I assume this price is due to the 50% selected cookware sale so have put tonight as the expiry.
These are $149.95 US+ postage from Amazon. I've not used these pans but All Clad have a great reputation in the states, where they are made.

8 inch now also available for $99.98 and 12 inch for $127.98
These 2 weren't 50% when I originally posted the deal

  • All clad is great - so easy to clean and you will die before this breaks. This is great price guys. If I didnt already got 2 fry pans from them I'd be all over this.

    • Any tips for cleaning SS pans please? I have a Scanpan SS pan which I no longer use because cleaning takes longer than cooking!

      • What are you up cooking in them? Do you let them get nice and hot before adding your oil? I only ever have dramas with stainless if I burn them

        • Usually chops or steak - lamb, beef, pork. Also chicken pieces (skin on). Vegetables occasionally.

@ifonlyiwasyounger: if I'm cooking meats in my stainless pans I'll normally make a pan sauce. This will get it pretty clean then after dinner hit it with the steel scourer and you should be sweet

        • @sourdawg: Thank you sourdawg.

Not sure about scanpan but with allclad after steak, I soak the pan in hot water for 10-15min, I could literally wipe off the pan with paper towel. Then I use sponge and soap and it's clean. So easy.

  • How do these compare to essteele per vita series?

    • Esstelle are very good but all clad are the best in industry from what i researched online.

  • I just bought some cast iron ones but otherwise at this price i will be all over them. They have the best reviews and last forever.

  • need a cover

  • there is non-stick version same price. any good?

how does it compare to tefal tri-ply ?

    • +2

Not sure I'd ever spend that sort of money on non stick, I consider them disposable
