Any deal on GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti?

Hey Bargain hunters

I'm after a GTX 1080 or 1080Ti they seem to be $1200ish in Australia, I'm willing to purchase Internationally if I can nab a 1080Ti for under 1000.

Anyone know of any deals on a 1080Ti? Or a 1080 if the price is right.

I recently got a 3440P Asus Predator X34 monitor and the GTX 1070 I have was struggling to get good frame rates at the higher resolution. I've sold the 1070 so ready to get an upgraded card. Happy to pay more if there's a good deal in Australia.

Thanks.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 is $1,024 delivered.

    • Would get hit with customs on that! Wish it was local :P

Just bought this today. EVGA 1080Ti FTW3, pretty awesome considering you dont have to pay a 10% GST because its under $1000.

Very tempting at that price, and the 2-3 day delivery at $38 would make it $1027 delivered, no customs, and likely to get it by Friday… Hmm…

I'm trying to bargain with an eBay seller on a second hand one to see if he'll go for 1k, so I can use c5oz and get it for about $950 haha. If he doesn't budge I'm likely buying the one you linked. Thanks man.

    • Does the total price including delivery have to be below $1000 AUD?

    • Um… sorry to break it to you but the cost of postage is included when they assess the value for GST and customs duties. So prepare your spare $150 to give to the government:/

  • eBay dude agreed to drop the price of his card from $1100 to $1000 for a 1080 Ti (Asus Turbo) but it has 3 years local warranty, and with the 5% c5oz eBay code works out to about $950 delivered. I'm going with that, woohoo!!!

      Grats man.

      • Cheers man. Can't wait to see how the 1080 Ti powers my 3440P screen. The 1070 can do it, but I certainly have to put the settings right down to get around the 100fps mark in more demanding titles.

        • Nice what screen. I am in the market for a new screen.

        • Acer Predator X34, amazing screen, and it's really well priced compared to the only real competitor that I know of which is the Asus version for $500 more.

        • @kimlo: Thats because x35 is just around the corner.

        • IS too dammit! :(

  • Hi guys, I need a new graphic card for my new VR Rift and I am thinking of getting the GTX 1080 FTW 2 https://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N…. I don't have any experience with graphic card, so I don't know if it is a good one. And, I don't now if it is worth to spend more money to get an GTX 1080 Ti or not? Hope you guys can give me some recommendations. Thank you.

    • Get the Ti it is definitely worth it compared to the 1080.. the $300+ premium will keep you safely in the best possible current conditions so you won't be kept up awake at night thinking life could be better.

Get a Ti just don't SLI as the benefits are not as good compared to previous generations.
