Am looking to purchase something from east bay and am trying to work out the costs to determine whether it is worth it.
Just wondering if I was to use my Citibank Plus transaction account to purchase something in USD would there be any additional transaction fee? Also are you able to tell me where I may be able to check the exchange rate that will be applied?

i'm not 100% sure here, i suspect the date is when it is processed, so it might fluctuate slightly between payment and processing
No fees with Citibank Plus Transaction account; international or otherwise. I used mine on Amazon for a purchase in USD last month; rate paid was much better than the AUD offered by Amazon.
I used the Citibank plus card earlier this year in Europe at ATMs for withdrawing cash (Euro and other currencies) and shopping as if a normal CC. No additional fees, just the conversion rate which is waaaaaay better than if you try to swap cash at any currency exchanges anywhere there.
Just make sure you pay in the foreign currency so you don't get hit by dynamic currency conversion. xe.com is a good app for exchange rates that match what you will get from Citibank.
