S8 12 Month Plan?

Hey,

My workplace will pay $150 per month for a mobile phone. I'd like to upgrade my current one but pay off the phone within 12 months using the 150 per month so if I leave the company I will not continuing paying for the phone.. Since most employees in my field will simply provide a phone.

Does any one know of a phone plan where I can do this?

When I worked at Vodafone they marketed 12m plans
In reality you pay the cost for the phone spread out over 12m (mpp) alongside a sim only
    Perhaps you could try that
Often worked out better value on 24m plans doing it that way

Vodafone does do Sim Only with MPP

      For example:
      Galaxy S8
$50 Sim Only (currently has $5 per month discount) = $45 per month
      12 Month Plan
      Plan includes
      14 GB Base Data
      unlimited calls and SMS
      You choose either
4GB Extra Data or 1300 Min International calls

Handset is $99.92 per month for 12 months

So Total would be $144.92 per month

You'll be hard pressed to find 12 month plans with a mobile these days.

Some will do 'hand set' payments, that can be done over 12 months. This might be an option.

    • Thanks should be able talk to the providers and organise handset+sim contract bundle. Cheers

      • Best of luck and if you find something, report back!!

Can't you just buy the phone outright and go prepaid, keeping the full $150 per month until you reimburse yourself? Will almost definitely work out better this way unless there is a really good deal on.

    • You need to upload receipts AFAIK its a per month expense claim

      • Alright then that sucks. I think Optus let you pay off a phone over 12 months on a sim only or something so try that?
