Can use code COZZIE to bring it down to $80.10

    • Thanks mate

  • Does it officially support the Nintendo Switch? Want to grab one of these for Splatoon (:

    • Not without a box in between the Switch and your Phone. That is assuming you want to use the mic. If you only wanted audio, then it will work fine.

It's a terrible solution they went with. You can't get voice through the Switch. It has to be through the phone. Which means you need a box that joins the three devices so they can talk to each other. Really really tone deaf move by Nintendo, and their inexperience shows.

This is the thing you need.

      • Nintendo really dropped the ball on this. I hope it doesn't affect sales. But I'll just use the A10s with Discord on my phone then. Discord has way more functionality than the Nintendo app….. At least the A10s will work with my iPhone.

But now i need to buy that adapter to get game sounds and voice through the A10s….. Can we even buy these yet in aus? I can't find them on EB or anything.

        • It's a third party product, not official Nintendo. Nintendo does not have their own product for it. Truthfully, they don't want you to be using voice chat and have always opposed it.

  • +1

I would advise trying them on before buying. I would suggest the same with all headphones.

The A40 and A50 are reknowned for their comfort. But I bought an A50 and did not find it comfortable at all. Everyone's heads are different. Don't just go by what other people say.. I suggest you try them on yourself before buying.

They weren't the only pair I wasted money on, believing in the comfort reports of others.

    • You want comfort, get the Hyper x Cloud headset. It feels like clouds wrapped around your head. Picked mine up EOFY last year for like $40. Would honestly pay double that for them though.

      • Is it really soft? I haven't felt clouds before. I'd imagine them to be like vapor.

Does it feel like cotton balls perhaps?

        • Like freshly laundered cotton

        • @Rochie: Looking at their pics, I can't see what is contributing to that cotton feel. It just uses leatherette pads.

Do they sound good? Because I have low expectations of AQ on gaming headsets.

        • @lostn: If you read many reviews a lot of them compliment how comfortable they are. I am not an avid sound person so in terms of sound for the average person they are great for me. If you are very technical they obviously aren't too great at around a $50 price tag compared to headsets $200+. The ear muffs are super comfy to me, they are big enough for my big ears so they don't squish them and super soft. The headband also is quite nice compare to some headsets with just plastic/metal with a bit of foam. IMO they are the best budget headset, I am looking at upgrading to the Hyperx cloud revolver soon though if I can snag them at a decent price.

  • Wonder if you can plug these into one of their older mixamps from around 2011?
