Huawei Honor 8 Lite is a 2017-released mid-range Android smartphone of the premium Honor series. It is a Dual SIM Standby handset which provides two SIM card slots while the SIM2 slot doubles up as a microSD memory card slot as well if storage expansion is needed (up to 256GB supported). The device showcases elegant contours and a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p touchscreen with IPS LCD and 2.5D Glass. The screen packs 424ppi pixel density for perfect color reproduction and multimedia streaming.

The phone employs Emotion 5.0 UI user interface and its 32GB internal ROM comes pre-installed with Android OS v7.0 (Nougat), which is the 2017 iteration from Google. So far as internal hardware specs are concerned, the Honor 8 Lite boasts a HiSilicon Kirin 655 chipset which feature an Octa-core CPU. This processing unit comprises of 4x 2.1GHz and 4x 1.7GHz processors along with a large 3GB RAM for quick app processing and multitasking without lags. For multimedia lovers, a Mali-T830MP2 GPU is provided built-in for better graphics performance.

      eGlobal also has the Chinese model for $252 shipped which is why I asked what model it is, but it looks like we won't get a response.

        It's Chinese model because there isn't US/EU/AUS model yet, but it support LTE/TD-LTE/TD-SCDMA/WCDMA…..

        We believe that is reasonable price for a brilliant budget smart phone in Australia

          We always use DHL as it is the best way to gurantee the time and quality to our customer's hands
          for alternatives we have a option "TOLl Australia" but as you know the Australia post and Toll, we can't gurantee that is a fast service, but if speed is not a issue we to use Toll then the price comes to $245

          A lot of the members here care more about cost than delivery time, try changing the title to "HUAWEI Honor8 Lite （China Ver.） $245 3GB Ram /32GB Rom @ Curiositybox" and listing DHL as an option in the description for those who are interested.

    Anyone can recommend the smallest dual 4G/3G that works in Australia. My priority is 5" or below. This is close but might get S7 dual instead of this.

    This models only available in China at the moment, we only order them from offical HUAWEI manufactuer, so this is Chinese model but it supports 4G/3G I believe it works in Australia
