32" LED HDMI 1080p TV

I want a bargain, no too much to ask for is it.

scrap the 1080p… it's unnecessary expense for a TV so small, unless you're going to sit about 2m away.

    • Very true, but can you even get a 720p (1366x768) panel in an LED set nowadays? Definitely in an older ccfl backlit set, but most of the LED jobs I've seen have been 1080p only! ;)

      • Yeah probably not.
I bought a non-LED 720p Toshiba for $529 last weekend. Cheapest Brand Name unit I could find.

  • I think so too but Im looking for my brother and he seems to be fussy and I suppose to justify the use of a bluray player… oh and it might get some use as a PC monitor as well so really sould do with the higher res

If it's going to be used as a PC monitor for doing stuff other than watch video, then 1080p is worthwhile.. Otherwise, my comment above stands, it's physically impossible for the human eye to see the difference from 2m or further for that size of screen.
