Thanks everyone for replying to my previous question and poll. I would really appreciate if you can help out with this question as well.

Which tyre retailer do you use or like?

i just bought a set of tyres (with 5000kms on them) and rims for my car from a wrecker for $500 from ebay (with 20% off coupon)

We always use our local Bob Jane store - it's within walking distance of home (well, it is for me as I like walking :) , only about 20-25 minutes) so quite handy when dropping the car off, although they always offer to drive me home anyway which is nice. They do a good job and the manager is great to deal with. Being female, I often hate going to mechanics, tyre places, or in fact anywhere automotive-related as the staff often tend to be quite condescending and "talk down" to women - I have no trouble admitting I'm no great shakes as far as mechanical knowledge etc is concerned, but I do have a reasonable understanding and am also not an idiot, so don't appreciate being spoken to like one. This Bob Jane store is completely the opposite, and treats all customers with respect and courtesy. Our local Auto One store is the same, always friendly and helpful, so they get all our business as well!
