Looking for Cheapest 64GB SSD around

Recently got a barebones pc for mum to use for daily internet browsing, figured I would drop a little extra to get an SSD for the OS. Anyone know of a half-decent yet affordable 64gb SSD?

What does without cache mean and does it make much difference compared to one with cache?

Depends on the speed of the cache, if the SSD is faster than the SSD with cache, that is better, cache is there to hold data before it offloads it onto the SSD.

Usually slower SSDs use cache, to make it faster for average use, theoretically if cache is full, it will be become slow, however in a day to day use scenario you hardly fill it, unless you're writing a lot of large files.

EDIT: So in this situation where your mum won't be doing any computing, the cheaper option is the best option.

        • Great info, thanks!
Wouldn't it be better to get a well known brand than this one?
Obviously will be more expensive but it could stop working a lot quicker

Yea, I personally would just wait for a sale on a well known brand, as you said, more evidence that it will last longer and also better warranty.
