Once again, you must advertise GST inclusive prices!

    https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/accc-warns-service-sec…

"Advertised prices for goods and services to the public should include the Goods and Services Tax", ACCC Chairman, Professor Allan Fels, warned today. "Advertisers who fail to comply may find themselves in court.

"If a business chooses to indicate the two components of a price separately (i.e. the GST-exclusive price and the GST amount), then those components must be in close proximity to, and not given greater prominence than, the final GST-inclusive price.

Homepage clearly advertises only GST exclusive prices, as does the title of your 2 deal posts

    • Good point. I've submitted a complaint to the ACCC just now.

  • I'm going to buy some 110km/h speed limit signs and post them on the street my boss lives on just to give them the shits.

  • The prices on the website do have GST included in the product's prices. See screenshot

However the OP has not explained what "excl GST" means. You will have to provide a better explanation of what your TC's entail and link to it, rather than expecting people to look for it themselves and / or do a quick summary of what it means.

    Good luck.

    • Not on their homepage they don't advertise both prices

now that you mention, yeah, a website that is open to the public should have GST included. Businesses generally can exclude GST when they are quoting to a business, but only if the quote is exclusively to a business.

A website can be browsed by anyone so GST's should always be included.

In any case, the OP posts, but never makes a comment, so I don't think they'll be back to edit to deal or answer any of our burning questions..

    • But on the home page you'll see some sort of label printer being advertised for $6100, but when you click through the price goes up to $6800. Clearly not including the GST price there. That's like a shopfront having the price advertised as $6100 on their shopfront, but you go in and see that it's $6800 with the GST.

  • Negging because far lower price elsewhere:-
