Help Me Find My Allergies? Red Skin

Dear bargainers
I've noticed I have an allergy to something that I cannot identify!
I have seen Dr and gave me tablets and cream that didn't helped, will soon take blood test but just giving it a shot that maybe someone knows?
So been a month that I noticed a some area of my face has turned reddish, cheek and forehead, it does not itch or sore anything sometimes can feel some sort of heat around the area, I have stopped using soaps and stopped eating spicy food but no luck,:/
Is there a good skin clinic in qld I can go to?
Anyone have had similar issue?

Allergies can be caused by a variety of causes. As a person ages, eg., 34 y.o. onwards, your immune system can become sensitive and you develop an allergy.
You may have an allergy to something you eat or even chemicals you wash your clothes with.
Without getting parnoid, do you eat foods that cause this?
What foods can cause a skin rash? While any food can cause an adverse reaction, eight types of food account for about 90 percent of all reactions:
    Eggs.
    Milk.
    Peanuts.
    Tree nuts.
    Fish.
    Shellfish.
    Wheat.
    Soy.
A good dermatologist may help give a diagnosis. So do a food diary for them. My Mumn had a face skin rash problem from eating too many strawberries, so limits consumption of certain fruits. Her G.P. helped with this.

Blood test is a good start.

For further tests, Google allergy or immunology clinics in your area. Some hospitals would have such a clinic and you might also be able to find some private practices depending on your area.

Personally, I'd stay clear of those non-conventional/homeopathic ones (eg those that test hair sample).

However, if the allergy treatment offered by your doctor doesn't help, is it possible that your symptoms might be caused by something other than an allergy?

    • Yea think found it, the heater might have caused this as I leave it on whole night

Assuming what you've tried are antihistamine tablets and corticosteroid cream, and if they didn't work sounds like it may not be allergies? Unless you keep re-exposing yourself to the same allergen after the antihistamine has worn off… It may be eczema? If so you can try avoiding hot hot water in the shower, direct hot air from heaters and anything else that's extremely drying and use a non perfumed moisturiser?

    • Indeed think you're right ! Thanks I start suspecting the heater and I do wash my face with hot water, will keep away from these for this week to see what happens thanks
