    It comes down to shipping really, as we only use services with a signature, these services cost more than the item in this case and same with any other very small cheap items :)

        haha not quite, but there are also:

        ebay fees
        PayPal fees
        picking fees

        we use 2 different 3rd party logistics warehousing locations for our stock, we are charged about $4 per item/order as a picking fee by these guys, so we take that into account as well.

        i would recommend buying something like this from Hong Kong for $2.50 delivered :P
