Bosch Stacking Kit with Pull-out Shelf (WTZ11400)

Hey guys,

I have bought a Samsung WW11K8412OW 11kg Front Load Washer recently. I would like to stack a Bosch WTW87565AU 9kg Heat Pump Dryer on top of it.

I was looking at buying the Bosch stacking kit with a pull-out shelf (model number WTZ11400).

Has anyone tried installing this Bosch stacking kit on a non-Bosch washing machine?
Am I going to void the warranty on my Samsung washing machine by installing this stacking kit?

If I understand correctly, I need to drill 4 holes into the washing machines in order to secure the stacking kit with screws.

Or, am I just better off buying an el-cheapo washer/dryer mat like the following?
Appliance Washer/Dryer Mat APL600

A few people have commented in past threads that using a stacking kit is preferable in order to avoid the dryer rolling off when the washer goes into its spin cycle.

Any insights or expert opinion will be greatly appreciated.

  • I know this is an old thread and you didn’t get any answers but I’m wondering what you decided to do? Did you use a stacking kit and did it work?
I’ve been using a generic mat for years but it’s not perfect and would like to upgrade to a stacking kit.

Thank you so much for your comment.
What a trip down memory lane!

I did end up buying the Bosh stacking kit for my mum & dad back in 2017 after finding a decent Bosch washing machine and a Bosch dryer to pair with.
IIRC, E&S applied a really good discount to the entire package. Otherwise, I could not justify the $200 price tag for such a flimsy product.

      • Thank you so much for coming back! I unfortunately have the same Samsung washer and they don’t sell a stacking kit for it anymore. Perhaps it’s time I make the upgrade. Thank you again!
