Cheap Parking near St George Hospital, Kogarah for a Whole Day Please?

I will be a volunteer at the hospital during the week. It cost me 34 dollars to park for the day, which is a bit too much.

Anywhere cheaper nearby pls? I do not have much to carry and happy to walk around 20mins.

    I just checked a couple of side streets on google maps - seems to be free street parking.

    What's the issue? Should have plenty of options at a 20min walk.

      Sorry, I should have mentioned that I need to park for the whole day. There are plenty of 2 hours free parking on Street.

    Traynor Ave

    They're all side streets off President Ave and all about a 15min walk to the hospital - good on you for volunteering!

        Yes these are mostly un timed spots, but check the signs are there are some exceptions.

    kogarah station commuter parking, it's free

        get there early or it will be full, all day no time limit

    Do you have to drive? It's only a 500m/5 minute walk from Kogarah Station.

    Talk to whoever is in charge of you, as a volunteer ask for free parking from admin.

    There is a car park on Derby St that I used when my wife was in hospital after giving birth. Its $1 per hour, the catch being that it is max 3 hours, but its ticket based, so you go in, pay for 3 hours, then go back and get another 3 hour ticket.

    Been living in the area for the last 8 years - few tips - there's Kogarah commuter car park right next to the station. The walk to the hospital from Kogarah station is less than 10 minutes. No limits, secure, covered - what else do you need?

    Kogarah Station car park and walk around 10-15 to Hospital or there is the Kogarah Town Centre parking.

    I work 1 - 2 days a week at the hospital and use app called Share with Oscar to book parking right next to St George Hospital. It's about $10 a day and the spot I book is just a 2 min walk away. Much better than paying over $30 for the hospital car park next door.
