I've been given an old PSP and need a larger Pro Duo Memory Stick to actually update the OS.
While there's quite a few cheap cards on eBay (I've picked one up), the shipping time is quite long and so I thought I'd ask if anyone knew of a store in the Sydney CBD that still stocks them? Or has a cheap one they're not using and would like to sell me directly?
another psp user here: why not try the duel micro sd adpators which allow you to use 2 micro sd cards at the same time.
I have my 3000 psp with 2 x 64gb cards and most of my gaming collection stored ready to go. also use class 10 (4 is very slow in loading games)
You wouldn't be able to post a link to any of these adapters that are on sale by chance? I've got a couple of old micro sds lying around so that could allow me to upgrade and jailbreak the device while I wait for my ebay delivery to arrive

Yeah $43 is a bit much for an adapter, even if it is a decent one!
I was hoping more for the name of a local retailer that might have these. That way I can pick one up asap while waiting for my Chinese pro duo card to arrive in the mail
I don't think you will be able to find these locally unless somebody is still selling them at game shop repair store or at the weekend markets. Even then, unlikely as there would be little demand for them these days. Try and look for a seller in Sydney if you think the one listed above will take too long.
Not sure if you are aware but you can use some cheap adaptors that use standard MicroSD cards. Some are better quality then others but they certainly work and the PSP recognises them once formatted.
Something to consider if you're not having much luck finding genuine DUO PRO cards and at least with these, you can always salvage the MicroSD for other purposes once you're done using it in the PSP.
