Difficulty to Obtain Old Payment Summary 2015 from Previous Employer

Hi,

I am writing in regards to work payment summary. I had worked previously with the employer in 2015 and can't find the payment summary again. So I contacted the business and they wouldn't provide me with the payment summary in 2015. I know it has been a long time. I have recently open a mygov account but i don't think they will backtrack.

Is there some way I can find out gross payment or payment summary during that period?

    Contact the ATO and tell them that your previous employer will not provide you with the payment summary after you've requested it.

    The ATO can obtain it for you :)

  • Your employer has to submit this information to the ATO each year (think it's by around mid-Aug), so if you use MyGov to lodge your tax return (or via a tax agent), the figures will automatically appear as the "pre-filled" information.

    Why? Did they provide a reason? Call your old HR dept and tell them to give it to you. If they don't ask to speak with their supervisor because it isn't that long ago. They should have that still somewhere that they can print it off or download it and email it to you.

    Did you link you mygov to ato? 2015 isn't that long ago … should be easy to find the info, if they submitted it.
