Watch Movie on 1 Tablet with Two Bluetooth Headsets

Hi guys, does anyone know of a device that can allow me and my wife to both watch the same movie on the same tablet, using our QC35 headphones in bluetooth mode?

When we travel, our kids sleep in the same hotel room (my wife won't have it any other way) and when they go to sleep at 7pm, or night is also over. I usually take my tablet and we both watch the same movie, with our headphones plugged in via wired through a headphone splitter. This works OK, but I'd prefer to do it by blue-tooth and avoid the wires. Also, when would like to watch TV by bluetooth, so a device could also be used, so that we can both watch TV at the same time, via bluetooth.

Thanks

I have their headset and BT transmitter for the low latency aspect.
Can't fault the price vs quality of the product.

However im cure cheaper can be had on ebay. Although some shonky yumcha adaptors ive bought didn't even work half the time.
Edit: ill add that for watching movies I don't know why you wouldn't but a low latency device.

    • Thanks, so can two bluetooth headphones connect at the same time? Low latency sounds good, I have a cheapo chinese BT transmitter and the voice is always out of sync with video, making it unusable. Do you have to have matching headphones, or do you know if QC35 will be OK?

yes you can. the site explains all the options and variations. Their support was pretty responsive too.

aptx would be ok for latency but not the best - surely the QC35 supports that for its price! The transmitter definitely supports the older codecs.

edit: nope unfortunately your qc35 does not

  • you need an extra bit of kit, a bluetooth splitter

I had similar setup for the TV in my bedroom. bluetooth sender to set of speakers just behind our heads. I found the audio was marginally out of sync, but very watchable. My partner actually preferred the speakers due to the better audio quality. We set ours up because my daughters bedroom is next to ours and she reckons the TV was too loud when she was trying to sleep.

  • Hey Guys, After much searching, I found that I can already do this via the Bose Connect Android App. I installed this app months ago and at the time I could 'share' music between two headsets, but not video. After updating the app, it seems they now support video playback, so I connect to the tablet with my headphones, then my wife's headphones connect to mine via the Bose Connect app and viola, we can both watch the same movie at the same time, using Bluetooth connection. Thanks for your input though, much appreciated.
