Status Credits on Codeshare Flights

I have a question about status credits which im hoping someone might have some insight on. Im chasing Qantas status credits and have an airberlin flight coming up that is ticketed through Etihad. Airberlin is one world, Etihad is not. Can i still get qantas status credits even if the flight is not on a one world ticket (but still a oneworld plane)?

Thanks in advance if anyone knows the answer

Edit: Thanks all, looks like i need an airberlin ticket to get the status credits

    Use this calculator

What is the flight number that you have booked?

    • It's EY 1753

The impression i get is that i will get 0 status credits points. But if i was to take the same plane, under a ticket issubed by airberlin, i would get some qantas status credits.

If you have an AB flight number and provide your frequent flyer number (instead of another rewards program) then yes, you will receive status credits. Not as much as a QF flight though (e.g. Berlin to Abu Dhabi is 25 status credits)

    • Thanks. My ticket is with another airline unfortunately so i don't think i'll get them

Yeah EY won't net you status credits. Should get you credits on velocity though

I assume you have an EY flight number in which case you won't get Qantas status credits.

You can get Velocity status credits though.

I'd wait till after flight and claim QF points thru air Berlin website
Just remember to keep boarding pass as evidence.
I bought a flight recently thru Expedia ticketed with Lufthansa
It had qantas leg and two Lufthansa and two Austrian legs
Claimed both krisflyer and qantas points on one ticket.
