Mobileciti vs Kogan/Dick Smith

Interested in getting a Huawei p9 for my Dad's Birthday in two weeks time.

Just wondering does Mobileciti and Kogan both stock grey imports of the phone?(would this work fine in Australia)
Also has anyone had any experience with Mobileciti before? (Never heard of them and was unsure whether it'd be more reliable to purchase off Kogan).

Thanks in advance.

I bought my Oppo from them last year. Fast shipping. I don't have any issues yet fingers crossed, so can't comment on customer service. But I received my item within few days from ordering.

Mobileciti is Australian stock, Kogan/Dick Smith are selling grey imports (see the 'direct import' banner in the listing and "This Product is offered and supplied by Kogan HK").

Mobileciti have a pretty good reputation and that product is listed as 2 year warranty (AU warranty). Also it's $419.90 off their eBay store with C5OZ code which is $15 less than the Mobileciti website and cheaper than $482 delivered at Kogan anyway. Mobileciti has Optus branding but it's unlocked.

You might like to checkout some other phones in the $300-$500 range also, Motorola Moto G5 Plus might be a good alternative which will also be cheaper.

    • Thanks for your reply! Really helpful.
Will check out their ebay store

  • I can vouch for Mobileciti, their RMA on my broken HTC X9 with HTC was hassle free, a bit long but hassle free.

Completely understandable as it was probably HTC that was slow

  • I bought an S8 for my girlfriend from Mobileciti a few months ago. There was an issue with the unit out of the box (a stuck pixel, not their fault), and Mobileciti staff were very helpful and ended up replacing the unit after we brought it into the shop. The device is Australian stock.
