Similar to the Sanity deal, but many more titles to choose from - 75 at last count - and cheaper freight.

Some titles work out to a small saving, but some like the Independence Day movies are basically 50% off, while The Extreme Adventure Collection and The Extreme Nature Collection are usually $44.98 each.

  Good deal, but it's so sad knowing how little of these are True 4K and not upscaled.

    I think a lot of these movies didn't have 4K by that time.

      It's important to remember that 35mm film has an inherent resolution of around 4K so anything shot on it for the last 50 years should benefit from it.

      The main problem is that so many of the UHD releases don't take those original elements to create a new 4K master. They use an existing 2K digital intermediate and then upscale it.

      There are a few that do, but (as ExtremeDavo pointed out) not many. I'm sure the situation will improve, but a UHD created from a 2k source should have been rare from day one. Instead it's the majority.

      It's like releasing a BD from a 720p source.

      35mm is about 6k, hence discs like ghostbusters being a true 4k copy

    Agreed, it's frustrating having to research your purchases so much.
