Might be worth saying which woolies in the title
Who would buy a Lithium AAA? Didn't even realise they made them.
Lithium cells have very long shelf life. So they are good for places where you want it to work even after a long time idle, e.g. an emergency torch in your car glove compartment. There's a lithium cell in my snappy film camera that still powers up the camera.
Is it rechargeable? I thought that's why lithium batteries are?
No, lithium is used in many electrochemical combinations (and with differing voltages) and this particular combination isn't rechargeable.
Most Lithium batteries are Li-Ion, rechargeable, nominally 3.6V.
These are Li-Fe-S2, non rechargeable, 1.5V, so a drop-in replacement for normal batteries.
