Getting started take a bit of time…be patient. But once you're in…it's been ok so far.
I've just signed myself and my parents up to them.
Setup took about a week from order to being connected, although for both, they forgot to put the VOIP line through (my parents use a home phone) so that needed a call which they resolved pretty quickly.
Be aware that if you run Plex or anything that requires a static IP, you'll need to go for the gamer plan to stream outside of home.
The router they send works fine when switched on and going. Just takes a while to boot up.
Also, much easier to use live chat with them, because they're currently understaffed in their call centre and according to their Facebook, are hiring more.

Yes, and/or if you need to contact a PC or device inside your home network from the Internet (ie. port forwarding) you will also need the gamer plan. The standard plan causes you to become "double NAT'ted".
Yeah, I stupidly presumed it would work on the standard, but it doesn't for that reason.
Fortunately it took less than 24 hours to swap between them at no charge to me.
Plex doesn't require a static IP, and other services can be solved with other methods.
Yes you're right, however if you wish to stream outside you're home, it's far simpler to just pay the extra 10 per month and avoid messing around with Double NAT issues.
well the double NAT issue is myrepublic specific.
On a regular internet connection it just works.

Got connected yesterday off peak 39down and 35 up mb/s but that's on wifi will need to connect the pc to get a real test.
