Looking for Small Bathtubs

Someone posted about options on showere screen, and another person mentioned that this can be a stressful process, so planning is important. So here I am.

Due to the size of our bathroom, we initially wanted to remove the bathtub. But after many lengthy discussion, we have decided to find one that is smaller, 1200mm if possible, if not 1400mm. Looking for freestanding if possible, if not drop-in would do.

Had been looking at lots of websites and the freestanding ones are either too deep, or very straight at both ends, thereby making it looking uncomfortable. The better ones are asking for two grand!

Any help to source a functional and reasonable price would be much appreciated.

  • A small bath is near pointless for a regular sized adult, like you say either too deep or steep in the end. unless you are putting it in for kids don't bother.

    • In order to be able to sleep in, one needs at least 1800 isnt it? We simply dont have that size unless we have a tiny vanity.
A small bath is good for soaking sitting up, and bathing kids….

      • I don't get the idea of soaking sitting up, end up with half of you being cold. Def good for kids, although only once they can sit up for themselves. Before that it's too hard on your back holding a little one up.

  • See if you can find one like this in your state

    Hope it helps you.

    • Ah thanks for that. They are in the Valley!

  • I'm on the other side…. I'm looking for a bathtub around the 1800 mark and with straight ends sort of like a box… drop in style preferred. as I am going to have a bath/ shower combo… I figured the straight sides make better standing room and more space

    • Ya my thought exactly. Unless I can get an 1800, those 1500-1700 wont really allow an adult to sleep-in anyway….

    • Thanks they have the Decina which we are looking now…
