Yeah i have two stores near me, different owners though, and the difference is night and day.
I agree, Zambrero's is utter shit. Its slop in a wrap. Guzman E Gomez is so much better.
Nope, not odd at all. Nowhere near as nice as mad mex for mine. Had Zambrero once and that was one time too many.
I'm pretty surprised by the comments because the Zambrero in Northbridge (WA) pisses all over any other burrito joint I've been to and I've been to a few. Guzzy down the road is good quality too, both around the same mark I reckon.
a few years ago, went to NB Zambrero and that has turned me off forever. Everything was measured, and I accidentally agreed to add guac $2. Girl proceeds to bring out a THIMBLE and dribble some avo on my burrito. Then while she was rolling it up, a blob fell just outside of my wrap and she flicked it away. So annoyed! and never went back haha. hopefully its better now, but the Mad Mex in Subi had the most generous portions evaaaar.
