    It shouldn't… is the total value of the cart over $35?

    Let's say you purchased $36 worth of stuff and then applied the code. It will bring the value under 35 and there won't be free shipping. It's computer automated, so as long as the value of the final cart is over $35, you'll get free standard shipping.

    Also, I will note that all those listed are from bluebeards revenge. It is a British company so it is cheaper to buy it from the U.K.,

    Other items, I am far below the retail value of other local sellers…

    I've mentioned this before here, but basically competing in Aussie retail is very hard. Shave Rave exists as a hobby for me. In a deal like this I make practically no money… and I've even done deals here where I've lost money.

    But it's not about that, we consistently have lower prices. Even without the deal, there is very little on my website that isn't selling for under its RRP. The whole reason I started this was because I couldn't believe how much Aussie retailers ripped of customers. Like everything in Australia, we get bent over on overseas brands. This includes businesses etc Truth is, if I lowered Bluebeards any more, I'd be paying you to take it. Fortunately with other brands I have more wiggle room…

  the proraso bowl soaps are cheaper then elsewhere add another 15% off and it's a good deal ….. need to get a few to get to the free postage but i guess you add blades….. though i do buy blades in 50s or 100s …….can't see myself buying a packet of 5 or 10 blades ….. as part of the befits of de razors isn't just the better shave but also the savings on bulk buy blades.

  reality is most online shaving items are about getting to free post threshold …… so enough blades or soaps for free shipping ….. some do free shipping on razors in which case bundle stuff like some blades …..

    The 100 packs should be on their way soon.

    We decided on the 35 postage limit because as a base line we consistently sell cheaper than other local competitors. For orders under 35, we would lose money after shipping. Most people buy a lot from the site in one go to take advantage of the prices and free postage.

  It's not always about the lowest possible prices. The Store Rep is oftern here with deals, and his happy to spend his time (= money) answering questions from members.

    Again it's from America, it is an American brand.. it will arrive in Australia and the end of September. Which is not in time for Father's Day. Not relevant to this sale. These are the best prices you'll find locally.

      Exceptional customer service, local stock and support makes up the difference.

      Unfortunately some members here get some misguided sense of self importance by trolling reps. They'll get bored with it one day.

      Looking forward to the bulk razor packs and a bigger selection of brushes.

        Thanks OzBragain.

        I think a lot of people don't realise that it's financially impossible to price match the manufacturing country of the brands. Especiall UK and America. But I do my best to keep it as low as possible and can assure the product will be in your hands within 5 days.

        Most people get that thankfully and OzBargain has been pretty kind to me the past year and a half. But occasionally the trolls rear their heads…. bit frustrating but what can you do.
