Wagon Wheel Ice Creams

Hi Everyone,

My IGA have Wagon Wheel Ice Cream 4 packs on special for $5. The regular price is $8. When I checked OB I was surprised that there were no comments from anyone who had tried them. I didn't waste my money on the Golden Gaytime Cornetto because several people said they weren't good so I thought I'd post this in case anyone was wondering what they are like.

They are a fun novelty. They were OK but just OK and I wouldn't buy them again.

As you may know Wagon Wheels have 2 biscuits with marshmallow and jam between them and are covered in chocolate. The ice creams only have 1 thin biscuit on each end which are soft from the ice cream and this makes them fall apart when you try and eat them. They have a really small blob of jam in the middle and on each side and I couldn't taste any marshmallow flavour. They are covered in chocolate.

I really like the idea of a Wagon Wheel ice cream sandwich but I think that buying a packet of Wagon Wheels or mini Wagon Wheels when they are on special, slightly melting some vanilla ice cream and making an ice cream sandwich that way would be much nicer. The mini ones would be great for kids parties.

I know it's a trivial topic but I couldn't find many reviews on the internet so I hope this helps someone.

I have bad experiences from when I was a child with wagon wheels. Well really anything with a bit of crazy strong mint in it was odd to me as a child in chocolate.

    It's like eating toothpaste sometimes.

Now as a bigger child I can tolerate some mint in chocolate but mainly because it covers my bad breath. Haha lol ah life is funny sometimes and then you die.

Wagon Wheels have no mint as I recall, but then it's probably been 30 years!
