USB Power Adapter for Apple Products

Hi

We've had a couple of apple power adapters die on us recently and we need to replace them. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any decently priced reliable alternatives (29$ seems a bit steep for the official apple ones)? 10W preferably, but 5W would also do.

    • That's mostly for Android. It lacks MFI specification, hence the cheap price tag.

Hint: you can search for MFI approved accessories using the Apple database
      https://mfi.apple.com/MFiWeb/getAPS.action

Anker is an example of a brand that's MFI certified, about 350 products in that brand alone.

OP could try the Belkin Boost Up 12W Wall Charger w Lightning Cable for 29 AUD, but anything less than $29 generally will be off-brand Chinese chargers you might have to import from eBay. If you've spent so much on apple products, you should be cheaping out on the stuff that's required to charge it..

I recently bought a box of 15 apple usb chargers (used). Turn on your PMs

    • Don't think I want used chargers, thanks.

  • I use any charger to charge my apple devices, some are slower than others but still all charge.
You can charge them on a laptop/computer also.

  • I use a Tronsmart 5 port USB charger to charge my devices (Apple included). Works well and you can charge multiple devices at once.
