Apple iPhone 6S Plus Gold - International Stock Warranty

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy an iPhone 6S Plus Gold for Father's Day.

Obviously there's a huge differnece in price between International Stock and AU Stock.

How good is Apple's Warranty? Can I reasonably purchase International stock (Will save me at least couple hundred bucks), and still take it to Apple Store for repair should there be an issue?

Also, has anyone come across any bargains?

I'm not fussed about capacity…whatever is most economical!

Thanks in advance - help would really be appreciated as I'm running short on time!

:)

Australian stock - 2 yr warranty (inclusive of the 1 year AU statutory rights)
International stock - 1 yr warranty only (no statutory warranty)

There are some cases where Apple will not service your international product - for example when you bring in a product or model that is not sold in the country.

Correct - cellular devices (e.g iPhones, iPads with WiFi + 4G) will not be serviced by Apple Australia if they are a CDMA model, not a GSM model.

wrong. you need to worry about capacity, as some users cant update/upgrade the ios because low capacity. and dont say i dont need upgrade, what if the upgrade is to close up some major nasty loop security holes.

welcome to apple - where to get additional 32Gb you need to pay $200

  • Anyone have any recommendations for both local and O/S stock?
