The Good Guys 30 Day Price Guarantee. Discount Items Excluded!

I purchased a fridge from TGG and claimed the '30 Day price Guarantee" using the price from the 15% Bing Lee discount a few days ago. I got denied because the fridge was on sale at Bing Lee. What? I thought it was a mistake and call the customer "care" line, same answer: 30 day price guarantee doesn't cover items on discounts/sale.

the only way to find lower prices is when on sale, if discounts wont count then not sure what's the point.

      • That's why I always look around for the best price in given time, if you price goes down after a I bought it, build a bridge and get over it :)

  • Yeap. They suck. When iPhone 6 was on sale at Big W, The Good Guys refused to price beat. They checked with Big W for price and availability and it was all good. Ended up with a response that Big W's price was below their cost and they can't do anything.
