Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts - So good but so bad

Hi guys,

Just purchased 3 for $99 CT shirts. Quality was impeccable. Service was impeccable, and so was the experience.

But I have a very slim build, long arms, and big neck. The slimmest shirts that fit around my neck, didn't fit around my waist.

Aside from TM LEWIN, is there any other brand that anyone can recommend me for a similar quality and price?

Thanks

  • what size/fit did you get?

  • buy a bigger size…..

  • CT shirts are quite large. I'm not skinny, yet had to order the extra slim fit to make sure the shirts aren't like a parachute…..I don't think I would recommend them for anyone who's built like a beanpole unless they have a really skinny neck.

I feel like I reading a riddle! haha
I'm trying to picture this… If you've got a slim build with a big neck and the shirt fits your neck, how does it not fit around your waist?

Don't you have to get a bigger size for the neck to fit? (I have that big neck issue, so most of my shirts that fit the rest of my body properly don't button up at the neck or I just get tailor-made. If I get an off-the-rack shirt that fits my neck, then the rest of it is too baggy.)

I think he is saying once he goes up to size which fits his neck, the shirt is too baggy around the waist.

      • Yup!

Christ, I have the exact same issue! Slender frame, thicker neck. I can never find a shirt that fits me well, as well as I can use a tie with it.

Van Heusen seems to be the recommendation. I'll check them out in a week!

Head to Myers and try on everything on sale. I find Brookfield is good.
