    Isn't that crazy cheap for a 128gb usb 3.0?

    • +5

Yup. My too-good-to-be-true senses are tingling.

EDIT: Oh… it's one of those click-bait deals. You have to select the capacity from a dropdown. Once selected, the price changes. AU$56.20 for the 128GB.

      • Holy heck batman so are mine! And you know what they say . .

      • +3

I don't think it was click-bait, they just corrected it.

        • Ah. My bad. Apologies if I confused anyone.

    • …But not USB3 (for a useful time).

      Run HOT, and throttles hard.

And as they say… Cheap, Small, or Fast - You can only have two (features).

These are amazing at the first two.

  • Looks to be a pricing error - anyone game to try out ?

    • +1

Tried it out and apparently worked. Customer service telling me they received the order and will ship soon. Wonder if they notice haha.

      • They noticed and cancelled the order

        • Yep mine was cancelled and refunded :(

  • Pricing error!!

    32gig is $34.11

$14.71 is for the 16gig one

  • +2

    16gb & 128gb same price
    anyways ordered 128gb

    • +1

They will send us 16gb ones.

      • +26

        128MB

  • This deal seems incredible cheap. These usually retail around the ~55 mark?

  • Hmm…maybe pricing error but I bought 2 anyways

  • had a try. let's c what will happen.

    • +8

      Sorry, no USB C support.

  • Bought 2
    Thx op

  • +3

They fixed it, gone up to $57

  • Purchased one and after taking a look at the purchase history, the status displays an "Address Error"
Not sure what that means, checked out using the same address for the last few purchases and no issues.

  • is that original?

    • It's been done before.

  • +1

Did they just update price back? $68.25 for me

    • And now $56.20 lol. GL to those who got in fast enough!

  • +1

Pretty sure its a pricing error. Placed order for one anyway. Thanks OP

  • $68.25 is being charged. They must have fixed it while I was going to Paypal.

  • +1

Careful at the checkout… Price goes up to the correct amount.

  • deal's over

  • Expired, says $56.20.

  • Price changed back to $56ish

  • Mine jumped to $84 for 2!

  • +5

Bought 2 before the price rise - see if they honour it :P

    • same. Bought 3, just checked order status : Processing , quantity: 3, Total : AU$44.13

      • +1

Now it : ON HOLD….what's next? CANCELED or SHIPPED? haha

  • +1

Oops, some one is on the edge of being fired.

  • +1

That was ridiculously cheap… these aren't bad but they can get a bit hot. I use a 128gb one in my Surface Pro 4 and found it to be a bit too warm for my liking. I now use a Samsung Ultra Fit in my GPD Pocket.

    • How's the GPD Pocket?
Have you tried running any flavours of *nix on it?

      • I like it but it's not fast… can't believe I survived on an Atom CPU at one point in my life. That being said it's nice to bring out and use as a very portable PC. I'm just running Win10 though.

  • yeah deal's over… :'(

  • I can vouch for the drives it failed but retains data when it fails, they sent me a replacement which m happily using

Hi. Anyone have a screenshot of the original price they could pm me?

    • +7

      I beg to differ.

        • +10

          I beg to differ.

        • +4

          @bchliu: I beg to differ.

    • +3

      I also beg to differ

      • +5

        What is this, OzBeggers?

        • +2

          I differ

    • +7

Nah mate, you were just too slow. I did a dropdown and tried out a few options before purchasing. Ordered the deal as per OP before the price changed.

    • What is 'Grand Total to be Charged $10.99'?

      • +1

        I'm assuming it's $USD.

        • Thanks, it makes sense. I thought they are going to charge again :)

    • +6

      Deal has expired.

      • Was never a deal. Price error that's not honoured.

    • +1

      You've been proven right.
I wonder who'll 'man up' & retract their neg.

  • +4

I have one of these, terrible write speeds. Evens out at 4MB/s.

  • +3

Just warning everyone that these are terrible. Big file transfers cause the drive to overheat and disconnect from the computer. Works fine if you use usb 2 or transfer small files.

    Would not buy again.

    • Never had that problem with the two I have had for > 1 year. Then again, I transfer with Linux so it isn't busy trying to cope with an OS trying to generate thumbnails, icons, file indices and a "Cortana" index at the same time it is trying to copy.

    • While definitely preferring the Samsung model of the same form factor due to demonstrably cooler running and a "feel" that the SanDisk slows when very warm would have to say that "very warm" is as far as they go and they work for me. If the price was a steal like this I wouldn't hesitate to purchase, sorry I missed this (IF it's honoured) as having a teeny HD on the keychain is very very handy.

      • I probably have a faulty unit then. Mine is more hot than warm.

        • +1

I have a hot module too. I barely use it as a result.

    • Same here. Well, it's never disconnected, but it slows down to a crawl during large transfers. I can actually write to it quicker if I do it in bursts. I.e. instead of transferring ten files in one go, I transfer one at a time, letting it cool down in between. If it gets hot enough to drastically affect the transfer times, it's hot enough to burn you. Let it cool down a couple minutes before touching it.

Doesn't work well with a Wii U. Lots of stuttering and long load times. Works well enough with a Fire TV though. And the small form factor comes in handy.

  • so small and easy to loose

    • +2

Maybe you should secure it so it isn't so loose.

    • +2

      Story of your life?

      • +4

story of my mrs's life ;-)

  • +1

Order now says on Hold for me

  • I have one of these and they get hot enough to burn you :) Other than that really good.

    Order cancelled. Shame Zapals.

  • Clearly Pricing Error

    • But +Voted?

      You promote imaginary deals?

      • +1

        I prematurely voted up !!

        • +1

I do the same. My girlfriend reckons I have a problem. Always getting over excited and pushing the button too early

        • +1

@slipperypete: Pushing the button is good. Pulling the trigger is frowned upon.

  • +1

I'm going to take it up with the ACCC!
