The referral link isn't the best. You need to download the app first, verify your mobile number, set a password and then only enter the referral code.
Click on the referral link to find the referral code hidden in the URL. It is the last 16 digits at the end of the URL after the word "code=". Hope this helps. You can either do this at the start or after you have set your password.

Well this is interestig - just walked past one and tried to take it to Fish Market. My deposit was taken and the bike did not unlock.
And now I'm sicking around trying to get my deposit back because it says "Lock to end trip" but it's not even unlocked.
$69 deposit
That's really bad. Recently I saw so many bikes around and thought their business idea is pretty good - maybe they need more improvements at the start of their business. Hope things sort out for you mate!
Is it a $69 deposit, or a $69 joining fee? Do you ever get the $69 back?

"Pay & Refund deposit
1. To pay deposit, please enter "User center", "My wallet" then click "Pay deposit".
To get a refund for your deposit, which usually take 1~30 working days. Please go to "My wallet",and click the link of "refund deposit".
If you did not get your deposit back after 30 working days. Please report to us, and we will check and solve it as soon as possible.
You can refund deposit twice for free. If you refund deposit more than twice, an extra tansaction fee will be deducted from deposit."
