Why can't people just add size information in the title, nevermind I'm always assuming my size isn't there now. T^T

Coz posters value their own time as much as you do

Why can't people just add size information in the title,

There are quite a few sizes available. Surely it makes more sense for you to click and check rather than me having to check every hour or so and update the title with what sizes are left over?

  • If shipping is $8.50 then title should be $138.50 shipped.

whoops you're right, when I started the post I forgot that free shipping is $150 and above only.

The mesh tends to wear out in 6-12 months around the toes. But still a good shoe !

You sneaky little.. I like it.

  • I've got a pair of kayano 23 in US10.

Any suggestions on what size to get for these?
Also how do they compare with them kayanos?

I've never tired them on but keen to give them a go.

I don't have any of asics shoes, but for me 1/2 size bigger than Nike I normally wear.

I picked up a pair from Wiggle for $113 a while back. While they are marketed as Kayano competitors I don't think they are serious running shoes. They are really soft with average pronation control. Ok for walking around etc but I can't use them as a serious training or distance shoe. Even for shorter speed work the Ultra Boost doesn't feel fast like the ASICS DS Racer 11. The Ultra Boost sole also doesn't last anywhere near as long as the Kayano.

Fit wise a US11 Kayano for me was roughly equivalent to US11 Ultra Boost ST (they were sold from Wiggle as US11, UK 10.5, EUR 45.5). The knit upper on the Ultra Boost results in a very open toe box if that is a consideration. The open toe box did initially feel loose but its just different to what I was used to and I've come to like the toe box space. The knit is comfortable but not particularly robust.

The Ultra Boost does look great though and they are a great all day shoe for general walking etc - I just don't think they compare to the Kayano for running.

Thanks, bought two to choose which size fits best. Don't forget the cash rewards guys which will make them 120$.

  • This is a better deal

Remember this is only the ST version, not as popular as the original ultra boost model.

    • This is a better deal

Not for people who want a grey shoe! :)

Remember this is only the ST version, not as popular as the original ultra boost model.

The original model is no good for overpronators. I asked my podiatrist friend about the original Ultra Boost model and she said "Please don't tell me you're going to buy that!". The ST has more arch support.

Price is not longer available. Its actual price now is $182.00

  • Everytime I've bought something from Adidas.com.au they've cancelled my order because they don't have enough stock. Customer service is awful, no one seems to care at their office. Wouldn't recommend

    • My shoes got shipped today. My last four orders were shipped too. They were all for sale items.

      • I must be very unlucky then, mine were the limited releases, must make a difference.

        • +2

I guess stock must have been quite … limited. ;)

  • Serves me right for being impatient, needed a pair last week and splashed $200 on a pair of Adidas Supernova M's.

They are a fantastic running shoe, but I could've got a pair of these and a pair of Kanadia 7 GR GTX trail shoes for the same price
