Personally I don't think there is anything wrong when they state it is a replica. Sure if they didn't that's quite a problem, but now given the information it is not. You can get a free replica if you want, but it is just like any clone/replica; buyers risk. You are getting it for cheaper, so I think you should know the quality won't exactly be the same.

  • These look nice, but they're not that comfortable to sit in over time.

    • The authentic Eames chairs are comfy, the replica often not.
the important thing is the quality is quite poor they don't last long

    • I've got these Matt Blatt DSWs for the dinner table and they're very comfortable. Maybe not as a lounge chair but that's not what the design is for. Far more comfortable than a standard plastic or wooden flat chair although they do tend to feel a little cold as they 'hug' you more while you sit in them.

  • I shelled out for what I thought would be an ergonomic desk chair from Matt Blatt a few years ago.

The seat padding went flat after 3 days. I then returned it and was given a replacement seat which flattened in the same time.

It is now a very expensive mobile charging bench.
