To settle a debate in my household: Are you allowed to put notes/possible numbers in the corner and still claim you solved the puzzle fairly?

  Absolutely imo - in some Sudoku games they even have a feature specifically for putting possible numbers in the corners!

  Try solving the hard ones without doing that.
  It's a logic puzzle and penciling in the possibilities is a must.

Hell yeah! This sudoku is my favourite for 4+ years and I have never spent the <$3 to upgrade. This is my greatest OzBargain moment so far! OP is a pretty cool guy!

I like the auto-fill feature. Save me time penciling in all the possible moves. If you're stuck or want to learn more about solving the puzzle, try this website.
